Passengers can now fly with NIKI from Dusseldorf to Mallorca and the best holiday destinations in Europe
"Welcome aboard your NIKI flight from Dusseldorf to Palma de Mallorca", will be heard for the very first time next Sunday, 26th March 2017, by guests aboard Flight HG7622.
The transfer of airberlin's tourist routes to its Austrian subsidiary, NIKI, will come into effect at the start of the summer schedule on 26 March 2017. Alongside flights to the Balearic Islands, this includes flights to a wide range of popular holiday destinations around the Mediterranean and in the Atlantic such as Ibiza, Crete, Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

Starting summer 2017, airberlin’s Austrian partner airline NIKI will be providing excellent connections from Dusseldorf to sun destinations in the Mediterranean and Atlantic. From summer 2017 NIKI will provide services a total of 16 sun destinations in Spain, Portugal, and the Canary and Greek Islands. Mallorca, for example, will be served by seven non-stop daily flights. Flights to southern Tenerife and Gran Canaria will take off from Dusseldorf four times per week. Passengers wanting to head to Crete can choose from a total of 5 non-stop flights each week. Rhodes will see two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Fridays and passengers will be able to fly with NIKI to Kos every Wednesday and Friday.

Nothing changes for topbonus members: miles can continue to be collected and redeemed on flights operated by NIKI and airberlin, and status benefits remain unaffected.
